Arduino is an open-source prototyping platform based on easy-to-use hardware and software. Arduino boards are able to read inputs - light on a sensor, a finger on a button, or a Twitter message - and turn it into an output - activating a motor, turning on an LED, publishing something online. All this is defined by a set of instructions programmed through the Arduino software. Arduino was born at the Ivrea Interaction Design Institute as an easy tool for fast prototyping, aimed at students without a background in electronics and programming. As soon as it reached a wider community, the Arduino board started changing to adapt to new needs and challenges, differentiating its offer from simple 8-bit boards to products for IoT applications, wearable, 3D printing, and embedded environments.

Lattice Semiconductor (NASDAQ: LSCC) is the global leader in smart connectivity solutions, providing market leading intellectual property and low-power, small form-factor devices that enable more than 8,000 global customers to quickly deliver innovative and differentiated cost and power efficient products. The company’s broad end-market exposure extends from consumer electronics to industrial equipment, communications infrastructure and licensing. Lattice was founded in 1983 and is headquartered in Portland, Oregon. In March 2015, the Company acquired Silicon Image, which is a leader in setting industry standards including the highly successful HDMI®, DVI™, MHL® and WirelessHD® standards.
Grovf is an engineering company aimed to develop hardware and software products to assist Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and Big Data problems. Here at Grovf we help our industrial customers to solve IoT generated Big Data storage problems using hardware (FPGA) implementation of DB functionality in order to close the gap between IoT generated data throughput and software database transaction speed, resulting 20x faster transactions and power saving.
Basler is a leading manufacturer of high-quality digital cameras and accessories for industry, medicine, traffic and a variety of other markets. The company's product portfolio encompasses area scan and line scan cameras in compact housing dimensions, camera modules in board level variants for embedded solutions, and 3D cameras. The catalog is rounded off by our user-friendly pylon SDK and a broad spectrum of accessories, including a number developed specially for Basler and optimally harmonized for our cameras. Basler has 30 years of experience in computer vision. The company is home to approximately 500 employees at its headquarters in Ahrensburg, Germany, and its subsidiaries and sales offices in Europe, Asia, and North America.
Established by members of the Israel Defense Forces’ elite technology unit, Hailo developed the best performing AI processors for edge devices. With worldwide business activities and world leading partners in different domains, Hailo’s deep technology is set to transform the AI chip industry, putting new compute possibilities within reach. The AI processor is designed to fit into smart devices in various industries and use cases including automotive, smart cities, retail, and industry 4.0.
IoT Solutions
The FPGA - Accelerated Time Series Database is a dedicated hardware for IoT data storage. Smart Sensors data pass directly into FPGA from Ethernet adapter bypassing any type of operating systems and software layers. All data processing takes place under FPGA on fly and streams into SSD for storage. Artificial Intelligence algorithms are used to continuously evaluate interconnections between channels, classify and predict data. Device provides general functionality of software enabled time series database systems while implemented on hardware layer. FPGA’s native parallel feature is heavily used to achieve the data throughput in order of magnitude greater then all available software enabled time series database systems can offer.
The solution Hailo presents bridges the gap between existing and future AI technologies and the compute capacity needed to power these applications. The company is focused on building AI processors efficient and compact enough to compute and interpret vast amounts of data in real-time — processors that can be embedded in the edge devices themselves.
