• The integration of Couchbase into Predix has resulted in a revolutionary software platform that works regardless of network connectivity. This has significantly improved the efficiency and effectiveness of field personnel who can now monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment even in remote locations. The solution also enables complex customer analytics by integrating with customers’ enterprise resource planning software and other backend systems. Furthermore, it provides richer, more complex, and more flexible data modeling as all of the data is stored and transmitted as JSON. This has allowed GE Digital to offer a variety of solutions within the same data management platform to support diverse solutions that connect workers in very harsh environments.
