The implementation of Alteryx has brought about significant operational improvements within Ansaldo Energia. The planning team has been able to create an accurate, evolving picture of how the company manages its data and the effects inaccurate data can have on manufacturing processes. The workflows have helped improve data management within the company. For instance, in just five months, the planning team increased the percentage of valid orders coming from SAP from 75% to 92% after identifying problem areas in its generator manufacturing order process. This improvement has given the planners and schedulers a more accurate picture of the upcoming work, helping them budget and plan manufacturing with more confidence. The finance team has also seen success, automating data reconciliation, budgeting, profit and loss processes, and more, which has improved its own data quality and enabled Ansaldo Energia’s leadership to access insights quickly and more regularly than before.
