The organization is a large global technology company headquartered in California. They were running SolarWinds Orion instances across their IT estate and were concerned about the potential access or exfiltration of confidential or sensitive data.
The Solution
The organization quarantined the vulnerable instance and conducted investigations using their centralized firewall logging SIEM and Network flow data analysis tools. They also used VIAVI Observer Platform as an additional layer of monitoring and forensics tool.
