SATCOM Modems (VSAT)

The company develops satellite and quasi-satellite communication technology radically reducing the cost, size, weight and power of VSAT modems. Our first offering is a unique Software Defined Radio (SDR) ASIC (the SX-3000) and proprietary innovative software algorithms, the company now offers S-IDU (SatixFy – In Door Unit) VSAT modems to satellite equipment providers. Our solution gives VSAT providers the ability to customize their own unique features and propriety channel access scheme while upgrading to the latest standards and technologies from SatixFy (i.e. DVB-S2X/RCS2, Beam-Hopping). This enables VSAT providers to keep a competitive advantage with their satellite service provider customers. Our VSAT products and solutions are available now. SatixFy’s products increase performance of user-terminals, payloads and gateway equipment and assure future-proof products by supporting beam–hopping (a requirement for next generation satellite). Our technological innovations reduce bandwidth cost (OPEX) and equipment cost (CAPEX). SatixFy addresses large markets such as unconnected remote locations, newly emerging IoT devices and newly developing autonomous drone networks (UAVs).

SATCOM Electronic Steerable Antenna (SatixFy’s Phased Array Solution)

SatixFy is at the cutting edge of providing the next generation multi-beam electronically steerable phased array antennas: MatriQx. MatriQx can be used as:

Mobile SATCOM terminal

Terminals for LEO and MEO satellite constellation

Operate as a satellite payload (On Board Processing – OBP).

SatixFy’s SX-3000 is a highly integrated Software Defined Radio (SDR) System on a Chip (SoC) Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC). The device is purpose built to serve as a core component in VSAT modem product.
S-IDU Wideband DVB-S2X VSAT Modem
S-IDU Wideband DVB-S2X VSAT Modem
The S-IDU is SatixFy’s satellite VSAT platform with industry leading performance and flexibility in a compact package. This platform is based on a Software Defined Radio approach, enabling equipment providers to build a unique and differentiated offering to their customers. The S-IDU supports the latest DVB-S2X standard with wideband signals up to 125MHz. The S-IDU also supports beam hopping with superframe structure (DVB-S2X Annex E) assuring future-proof migration to the next generation of satellite systems. Any forward or return link waveform can be programmed into the embedded DSP processors, ensuring delivery of any new waveforms or access schemes. A highly capable processing sub-system can deliver consumer and enterprise applications with layer 2 and above customization. The S-IDU is available with two gigabit ethernet data interfaces delivering close to one Gigabit of data.

EBN Technology Corp.
EBN Technology Corp.
EBN Technology was founded in 2003. Its Board of Directors mainly sits representatives from the Quanta (2382) group of companies and Para Light Electronics Co. (6226). Research and manufacturing members come from IPC and the EMS notebook computers group. Sales personnel compose of sales experts from Taiwan, America, Europe and Japan. The entire senior management team at EBN is a combination of senior managers from the original Quanta Group, including the CEO, COO, CFO, CTO, and CMO.In 2014, Oracle purchased Micros for USD $5.3 million, highlighting the commercial value of POS systems under Big Data database needs and successfully bringing about the arrival of the “post POS age”. After that, the development of POS facilities across various vertical markets has shown an unstoppable trend towards diversity and mobility! As far back as 2006, when futurology master John Naisbitt presented 11 definite opinions, the President Barry Lam of today’s largest cloud computing facilities supplier in the world, Quanta Group, also foresaw the Big Data business opportunity and invested in EBN Technologies the following year. He appointed the then General Manager of Quanta Group’s Cloud Computing Business Division to lead EBN’s operation and integrate the “cloud” back end with the “point” front end. Henceforth both companies go full steam ahead in product R&D, manufacture, and commercial activities, establishing results consistently. Meanwhile, an international market was laid out for EBN in preparation for this trend.
