For the towing operation and cable ferry analysis, an additional step was to determine Ship Relative Amplitude Operators (RAOs). In the case of the cable ferry analysis, ShipMo3D was also used to determine forces on the ship hull. The solutions were integrated with ProteusDS, another software by Dynamic Systems Analysis Ltd. ProteusDS samples the waves around the structure and applies the load to the rigid body within the simulation. This integration allowed for more accurate simulations.
