The CONDIS supermarket chain needed to control reliably that its industrial refrigeration machines were operating correctly. At the same time the solution had to allow for manual testing of the level of refrigerant in the gas circuit when required, from the platform itself. This way they can act quickly in response to an alarm that the system itself should be capable of generating.

The Barcelona City Council manages about 2000 municipal buildings and as expected the energy expenditure is very high. Hence, the objective was to closely monitor and control how these buildings are consuming and, in some cases, producing energy. Specifically, the aim was o determine the degree of utilization of energy produced by solar thermal systems in multifamily buildings. The project consisted on controlling and monitoring 28 solar thermal systems. It was divided into three phases; a pilot phase to monitor 4 initial sites, a second phase where 16 more were added, and a third phase where the final 8 were included.

The Ascó City Council wanted to monitor and control all 16 municipal facilities it manages, as a means of improving energy efficiency. The project first phase objective is to monitor the energy consumption of the city hall building and to automate and control HVAC equipment distributed across various floors on the building.
