Company Description
Hikvision is an IoT solution provider with video as its core competency. Hikvision advances the core technologies of audio and video encoding, video image processing, and related data storage, as well as forward-looking technologies such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing and big data. Over the past several years, We deepened its knowledge and experience in meeting customer needs in various vertical markets, including public security, transportation, retail, education, healthcare, financial institutions, intelligent buildings and others. Accordingly, the company provides professional and customized solutions to meet diverse market requirements. In addition to the video security industry, Hikvision extended its business to smart home tech, industrial automation, and automotive electronics industries — all based on video intelligence technology — to explore channels for sustaining long-term development.
Industry 4.0 has a blind spot: Human beings. It turns out that people still perform up to 90% of factory tasks. Even in an age of robotics and IIoT, people are the main contributor to value-and, alas, to variability. Unfortunately, techniques for measuring human effectiveness haven't materially changed in a century. They remain manual and impossible to perform at scale. People are effectively invisible to analytics. Drishti (Sanskrit for "vision") solves this problem using what may be the world's first commercial application of action recognition to digitize human activities on the assembly line. Drishti creates a massive new dataset that enables true Digital Transformation for manufacturers while simultaneously making line workers more competitive against automation. Our mission is to "extend human potential in an increasingly automated world", starting with this 100-year-old problem in the $12T global manufacturing industry.
Pioneered in large data centers, Deep Learning-powered computer vision is now being deployed across a variety of embedded platforms such as drones, robots, IoT smart cameras and cars. These devices require computer vision capabilities that run at the edge, in real-time and enable long battery life. Deep Vision is meeting these needs with a completely new approach to processors and software. Our unique vision-specific processor is faster and more power efficient than GPU and DSP processing for modern computer vision problems. Coupled with a full stack of low power and real time deep learning computer vision software, our system gives small devices like drones, robots, and IOT cameras the ability to have embedded computer vision.
Buzz Solutions provides a software platform powered by Artificial Intelligence, Actionable Insights and Predictive Analytics for faults and Anomaly Detection for power line inspection process for power utilities. Our platform automates the process of storing and organizing visual data (captured in the field through drones and helicopters), analyzing for faults using our AI algorithms, mapping the data and providing heat maps as well as predictive insights for when, where and what kind of faults are happening on power line and assets. Using our solutions, power utilities save over 50% of cost and time to analyze data which makes condition based maintenance efforts easier and time efficient, thus, preventing wildfires, power outages and other climate change effects on the physical infrastructure of the grid. We are disrupting the electrical grid by making it much smarter and efficient using the power of AI and automation.

IoT Solutions
Our core innovation: action recognition Drishti has built a new deep learning architecture that uniquely parses streams of video to generate real-time analytics on highly variable human actions. Put simply, Drishti can recognize activities being performed as the operator performs them, even if Drishti has never observed that operator before. Drishti is the only company in the world commercializing action recognition specifically for manufacturing, and one of the very few working with the technology in any industry. Beyond action recognition: our full stack Action recognition is just part of the solution. Drishti’s vertically integrated manufacturing solution extends end-to-end: from capturing video to creating data to providing applications, data services and workflow support for line operators, supervisors, engineers and more.
Deep Vision has an ultra low power processor that is built from the ground up to run Deep Learning and other computer vision algorithms. Offering 100% programability, our processor can support all computer vision CNNs. We’ve built a full stack of complementary software that enable low power and real time processing. Innovative Architecture *High performance, scalable processor architecture that is completely programmable *60x better performance vs. competitors. Deep Learning Support *Built specifically to support Deep Learning, CNNs and traditional computer vision algorithms. *Software for easy software design and implementation. Low Power Design *Hardware and software combine to provide unprecedented power savings without performance loss. *Ideal for both embedded power and larger scalable solutions.
We provide an AI platform for power line inspections. Our software optimizes transmission line inspections and prevents power cuts through Artificial Intelligence and Predictive Analytics. We make inspections faster, safer, and more cost-effective.
3D Bin-Picking solutions available in the market perform basic pattern-matching algorithms on sparse 3D depth-map data. Therefore they work only when object geometries are simple, with no occlusion or entanglement, with atleast one part fully visible in the viewing angle trained for, and can only approximately pick and drop objects. The purpose of picking an object during a manual task is almost always to place in a desired orientation, hence approximate picks and drops finds very limited use-cases.
