Company Description
Bright Machines is a manufacturing startup that aims to eliminate manual labor from manufacturing electronic devices by combining robots and new software. Its software-defined manufacturing platform helps customers innovate faster to meet the growing demands of a new era of manufacturing. The company was founded by former Autodesk executive, Armar Hanspal, in 2018.
Since its inception in 1983, IXYS Corporation (Nasdaq: IXYS), a Silicon Valley power semiconductor company, has been developing technology-driven products to improve power conversion efficiency, generate clean energy, improve automation and provide advanced products in the transportation, medical and telecom industries. IXYS is a pioneer in the development of power semiconductors, integrated circuits and RF systems that effectively monitor electrical voltage to produce maximum effect with least expenditure of energy. Diminishing natural resources, demand for cheap energy and environmental directives for energy efficiency represent a significant challenge. IXYS’ technologies play a vital role in reducing energy costs and consumption by optimizing the energy efficiency of everyday products. IXYS continues to invest in new technologies through acquisition and internal R&D aimed at complementing IXYS’ strengths in power, as well as expanding its market opportunity into emerging high growth markets, including energy management and power quality. Today, IXYS offers products and technologies that span the entire power spectrum, addressing more than 90% of the overall power market ranging from high power semis and refined power MCUs to inverter components for wind/solar energy. IXYS is a worldwide provider of semiconductor technologies.

Beckhoff implements open automation systems based on PC Control technology. Products that can be used as separate components or integrated into a complete and seamless control system are available for all industries.

DGLogik, Inc. is a technology innovation organization providing cutting-edge IoE software solutions and methodologies for enhancing data performance intelligence. DGLogik enables enterprises to better manage cost efficiency by creating specialized applications that may track performance of all corporate functions through sophisticated and intuitive data visualization. Using the solutions from DGLogik, customers can achieve organizational agility, easily understand critical performance indicators, plan for the future, and become more profitable. Year Founded : 2007
Codian Robotics supplies high speed pick & place robots that do not run on a dedicated robot control system. The servo motors are mounted on the robot's frame and all other moving parts have a lightweight construction. This allows the robot to be dynamic and fast. Codian robots use the control system of the customer, eliminating the need for a duplicate control system. Through this unique feature, we meet the needs of a growing demand from the market, to have one integral control system in the packing line. In turn, purchase price, maintenance costs and physical space are saved. Codian robots are specifically suited for the packaging industry as well as for the food and pharmaceutical industry. The Codian robots have existed since 2002 and were built by a manufacturer of robot lines. There are over 1000 robots world-wide in use. On June 1, 2011, Codian Robotics was established as an independent company.
IoT Solutions
Microfactories Bright Machines Microfactories are comprised of integrated elements that together provide a modern, AI-powered approach to automating the assembly stage on a production line. Brightware? cloud-based software for design, simulation, and deployment of the configuration and instructions used to setup, reconfigure and run any number of physical production lines for assembly. Bright Robotic Cells (BRC) pre-integrated and production-ready modular units, based on adaptive robotics technology, that can be configured to meet the manufacturing needs of the product being assembled. Real Benefits: 1.Reduce initial deployment and changeover time. 2.Improve return on capital investment by easily repurposing equipment. 3.Deliver efficient space utilization on the factory floor. 4.Enable Predictive Maintenance with data analytics. 5.Replicate lines quickly and scale up as business grows.

The purpose of Industry 4.0 is to make manufacturing more flexible, efficient and sustainable through communication and intelligence, thus increasing the competitiveness of German industry. One major component of this approach is control technology, which is still far from reaching its full potential. Improved communication methodologies and the rising convergence of information and automation technologies will deliver significant progress – something Beckhoff has always focused on with its PC-based control technology and fieldbus communication. Beckhoff provides the foundational technologies and tools needed today to implement Industrie 4.0 concepts and Internet of Things (IoT) connectivity, all via PC-based control. TwinCAT engineering and control software packages are available for the creation of applications such as Big Data, pattern recognition as well as condition or power monitoring, in addition to traditional control tasks – which can sustainably increase production and engineering efficiency as a result.
