Bounce: Enhancing Urban Mobility in India with Google Maps Platform
Bounce, a smart mobility solution in India, was faced with the challenge of making daily commutes stress-free, time-saving, reliable, and convenient for its users. The company, which operates a scooter sharing mobility app, needed a location solution that could scale rapidly and provide accurate location information to its growing customer base. The motorized scooter, being the best selling vehicle in South Asia, was the chosen mode of transport for Bounce. However, the company needed to guide users to the nearest available scooters, provide unmatched location accuracy and information, and quickly scale to serve a growing customer base of more than 2.1 million people. Bounce officially launched its mobility app in September 2018 in Bangalore, one of the largest cities in India with a metropolitan population of more than 10 million. The app was so popular and easy to use that within two years, it had spread to bustling Hyderabad and a host of other cities.
AgroStar: Leveraging Google Cloud to Empower Small Farmers in India
AgroStar, an ecommerce platform selling farm supplies, was facing challenges in expanding its services to small farmers in India. The company aimed to provide a full-service platform that combines agronomy, data science, machine learning, and analytics to boost crop yields and improve income for these farmers. However, the lack of access to new, higher yield seeds and improved soil analyses for small farmers, who had to rely on traditional methods, was a significant hurdle. Additionally, the dissemination of innovative information from universities to small, grassroots farmers was slow and inefficient. The company also faced the challenge of providing timely advice in five languages on various aspects of farming, including seed optimization, crop rotation, soil nutrition, and pest control.
Streamlining Creative Networking in India: The Experience Co. Case Study
The Experience Co., a company that hosts various projects and events for creative professionals in India, was facing a significant challenge in managing its invite-only application process. The company was using five different tools, including Typeform, Integromat, Google Sheets, Sendgrid, and Mailchimp, to manage the application process. This approach was not only complex and prone to human errors but also time-consuming, with the team spending at least three hours per day managing the process. Additionally, as a bootstrapped company, The Experience Co. was reluctant to invest in an app development agency. Despite these challenges, the company was committed to providing a seamless user experience for its community of artists, musicians, filmmakers, photographers, chefs, storytellers, fashion designers, and other creative leaders.
