I recently encountered yet another innovative Montreal startup. Co-founder Ray Iskander explained to me they already had a mobile app that takes the data from the sensors and pushes it to the Cloud. I was impressed.
I was imagining pharmaceutical products that require careful temperate (cold-chain logistics) regulation and the cheapest smartest mobile-cloud solution. While the disposable tag measures temperature, what else in the future can IoT sensors measure? How much cheaper is the solution than older RFID methods? Considerably, and with plans in the works to work out the holy grail of pharma logistics, this is one small-biz to keep an eye on.
