About The Customer
The customer is the Dublin Port Tunnel, which is the largest ever civil engineering project in Ireland. It spans 5.6 km and acts as a link between Dublin Port and the national motorway network.
The Solution
The highly secure CEM AC2000 SE access control system was chosen to meet the client's requirements. It provides advanced access control, integration with intruder alarms and a central Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system.
Quantitative Benefit
  • The comprehensive security solution provided by CEM and ADT successfully secured the Dublin Port Tunnel, allowing it to become fully operational and open to traffic in December 2008.
