About The Customer
This global law firm has over 1,100 professionals in offices across the United States, Europe, and Asia. The firm is considered a global leader across several industries and specializes in mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, investment management, tax, and real estate, among other areas. Due to the nature of its business, this firm sought a solution that would enable key members of the organization to quickly and easily exchange sensitive information with the highest levels of security and privacy.
The Challenge
Due to the nature of the practice, it is of the utmost importance that the law firm’s most sensitive information be handled with only the highest degree of security. One the firm’s biggest challenges was that executives and external board members considered electronic communications too risky to use to transmit confidential information for board meetings. As a result, the executives and board members still relied on the physical distribution of paper and CDs. The process of using paper and CDs was overly cumbersome, prone to error and highly ineffective for sharing important information quickly. Additionally, the distribution of paper and CDs was a largely untrackable process, and there was a significant risk that these items could accidentally fall into the wrong hands. Jamie, the Manager of Information Security, recognized the many challenges and risks associated with the use of papers and CDs. As a result, he began to search for a highly secure solution that could safely enable the exchange of confidential information, offered granular access control and was able to track exactly who accessed what and when.
The Solution
After evaluating his options, Jamie selected CyberArk’s Sensitive Information Management Solution to enable executives and board members to exchange confidential information with the highest degree of security. Using CyberArk’s Sensitive Information Management Solution, executives and board members are now able to quickly and easily exchange highly confidential documents at their own discretion, and they are able to share this information with only the specific colleagues who need to see it. Thanks to the strong security controls, the executives and board members are now comfortable sharing these documents electronically through CyberArk’s solution. For oversight, the IT team has complete visibility into where the information is and who has accessed it, but the information itself remains secure from unauthorized eyes.

Flex Contact Center: Supporting rapid business growth with IBM Connections Cloud and IBM Verse
Flex Contact Center, a professional services company offering telesales, call-center, anti-attrition, back-office, helpdesk and collection services, has grown rapidly since its establishment in 2009. With operations in 12 sites across two states and four cities in Brazil, the company employs more than 11,000 people. However, the company realized that to prevent barriers to future expansion, it was essential to make it as easy as possible for its people to work together effectively—even if they were based in separate geographical locations. Traditional approaches to collaboration—based on email and phone calls—threatened to reduce productivity. Flex Contact Center wanted to enable better collaboration and communication across its workforce, but did not want to make large investments in infrastructure.

PureFluent: Connecting to partners and customers through the cloud for enhanced productivity
PureFluent, a translation services company, was facing challenges in managing its translation and document review processes. The company often received files in uneditable formats from customers, which required staff members to transfer text to word processing or spreadsheet documents. During the translation process, maintaining version control was a challenge because PureFluent sent work to hundreds of translators in multiple geographic locations. It was also time-consuming for staff to manage the large volume of emails and FTP transactions required to submit translations for customer review and ensure the integration of requested changes. Furthermore, staff were spending significant time hunting through their emails for specific attachments.
